Jason Nail M.E. : I am a father of two children, one chihuahua, and several uninvited raccoons that have begun homesteading my backyard and pool. I have degrees in Exercise and Wellness and Anthropology, and an advanced degree in Education Administration. I have taught elementary and high school, as well as college prep and research assistant. I am a mix of Alabama-Florida trash with a tropical hippy thing going. It’s really just a mess here in my head. We live Fort Myers where we enjoy kayak fishing and exploring every inch of our gorgeous state.
My experience includes working as a research assistant under Susan Stans at Florida Gulf Coast University, made possible by a grant from the Department of the Interior. I used to teach summer enrichment reading at the Brighton Seminole Reservation. They called me “Este Hvtke” white man. I would have preferred white devil but that was cool also.
After twenty plus years of working in the classroom, I am attempting to diversify my portfolio. I’m ready to retire at 43. NailTravels is an attempt for me to travel, play, eat, and explore as much as I can. My dream, if a man needs to have a dream, is to sit on a beach in Nicaragua and work on my computer. If not, maybe everyone that visits will get a chuckle at my many mistakes.
NailTravels is a Papa Blog that showcases travel articles with some recipes and lifestyle stuff thrown in for the masses. Hopefully, men can go to my site and learn how to be a man from an expert.
